Nothing appears on screen
.
possible cause:
The system is in a power saving mode.
solution:
Toggle the suspend key combination as seen at
“Function Keys” on page 2 - 19

possible cause:
The screen controls need to be adjusted.
solution:
Toggle the screen control key combinations
Fn
+ F9
and
F10
(
see Chapter 3:“Opening the
LCD” on page 3-2
)
. If you’re connected to an
external monitor, make sure it’s plugged in and
turned on. You should also check the monitor’s
own brightness and contrast controls.
Power Options
Depending upon the
setting of the Power
and Sleep Button

the system will either
go into Hibernate or
Standby mode. You
will be able to differen-
tiate its power status
as indicated in
Table 2
