4.0 - MANUAL RESET
• Make sure that all valves and downstream cocks are closed;
• Unscrew the cap (
10
);
• Lightly press the reset pin (
18
), wait a few moments for the pressure to balance and then the reset pin (
18
) to stroke end;
• While holding down the reset pin (
18
), slowly open the cock downstream of the regulator;
• Release the reset pin (
18
);
• After that tighten the cap (
10
) back in the initial position.
5.0 - COMMISSIONING
Before commissioning, ensure that:
• all of the indications on the rating plate, including the direction of flow, are complied with;
• the holes of the dust caps (
13
) and (
25
) are not clogged (regulator and shut-off);
• IMPORTANT:
Use appropriate manual gas shutoff devices to avoid damaging the regulator;
• The equipment pressurising operation must be carried out very slowly so as to prevent possible damage. To seal
the downstream section of the pipe:
• feed the regulator with the inlet pressure;
• slowly close the ball valve downstream of the regulator:
• while ensuring that the relief valve and any safety shut-offs are not triggered, check that the pressure
(indicated on the pressure gauge) remains stable (does not drop).
NOTE:
under no circumstances should a blind cap be installed in place of the dust caps (
13
) and (
25
) as the
regulator and/or the safety shut offs might not work;
• Close the ball valve downstream of the regulator and partially open the downstream relief valve;
• Slowly open the upstream shut-off devices;
• Close the vent valve;
• Manually reset the regulator (see 4.0);
