14. Determine which direction fan clutch
nut needs to turn for removal.
15. Hold Adapter Wrench onto
Adapter Wrench Rod.
16. Place Adapter Wrench
onto fan clutch nut.
17. Press Air Hammer Trigger to
loosen fan clutch nut.
18. Remove tool assembly from
engine compartment.
19. Remove Air Hose from Air Hammer.
20. Remove Adapter Wrench from
Adapter Wrench Rod.
21. Remove Adapter Wrench Rod
from Air Hammer.
22. Remove fan clutch.
Maintenance
TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM TOOL FAILURE:
Do not use damaged equipment. If abnormal noise or vibration
occurs, have the problem corrected before further use.
Cleaning, Maintenance, and Lubrication
1.
BEFORE EACH USE,
inspect
the general condition of the
tool set. Check for:
• loose hardware
• misalignment or binding
of moving parts
• cracked or broken parts
• any other condition that may
affect its safe operation.
2.
AFTER USE,
wipe the tools
off with a clean cloth.
3. When storing, coat all parts with a
light oil to prevent rust, then store
them in the Carrying Case.
