Use according to intended purpose
For machine types with a groove:
The groove is suitable for vertical cuts and bevel cuts.
For machine types with two grooves:
- Outer guide groove for bevel cuts
- Inner guide groove for vertical cuts 0° only

If bevel cuts are performed, damage to the guide rail caused by cuts

Damage to the new splinter guard due to blunt saw blade
The mounted splinter guard must be cut to size to fit the saw before the first cut. To do so, the entire length of
the rail is placed onto a level surface (board or similar). Set cutting depth to approx. 3 mm and angle scale to 0.
Turn on portable circular saw and push evenly forward in the direction of the cut. The resulting cut edge on the
splinter guard serves as tracing edge for straight cuts and bevel cuts.
