Cutting depth setting
The cutting depth can be set continuously in a range between 0 and 57 mm [0 to 2.24 in].
Use the following procedure to set the cutting
depth:
1.
Rotate the pointer (1) depending on whether or
not you are working with a guide rail (optional
accessory).

Top position = with guide rail
➢
Bottom position = without guide rail
The cutting depth is reduced by 6 mm [0.24 in] when
a guide rail is used.

Use the pointer (1) to set the cutting depth.

The cutting depth is indicated on the scale
(2) on the cover. The scale has a 1-mm
graduation.

To readjust the cutting depth setting, you
can use the Allen key (B) to turn the fillister
head screw (21). One revolution
corresponds to a cutting depth change of 1
mm [0.04 in].

The cutting depth is set.

For separating cuts, always set the
cutting depth to approx. 2 ... 5 mm
[0.08 ... 0.2 in] more than the
material thickness you want to cut.
