Flow range set valve adjustment 

 

The Flow range set valve is located on the rear panel (Figure 6). The purpose of this valve is to 

control the minimum lower flow of the HAP.

NOTE: 

If  the  valve  is  fully  open,  the  minimum  lower  flow  of  the  HAP  may  exceed  the 

maximum  flow  of  the  internal  AE33/AE43  pump. 

This  could  lead  to  flow  warnings  at 

certain altitudes between 2500 m and 3500 m above sea level (Figure 7, marked with 

red circle). In such cases, rotate flow range set in counterclockwise direction until you 

reach 5 SLPM (Figure 8). Refer to the data table in AE33 or AE43 for information about 

the current flow.
