CARE AND MAINTENANCE 

To avoid electric shock, always unplug the appliance before cleaning or moving. 
Disregarding this warning may result in personal injury. 
 

Note: 

DO NOT use harsh chemicals, abrasives, ammonia, chlorine bleach, concentrated  

detergents, solvents, or metal scouring pads to clean the appliance; some of these  
chemicals may dissolve, damage, and/or discolor your appliance.  
 
1.

Remove the contents of the appliance. 

2.

Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces with a damp cloth. Add vinegar to the water 
to prevent mold and fungus growth. 

3.

Take the lid apart and clean it. The detachable bottom and lid parts may be cleaned 
with lukewarm water and detergent.  

4.

Dry all parts thoroughly after cleaning. 

5.

When reassembling the lid, turn the slits in the sealing ring and in the hinge rubber 
strip downward. 

6.

When not in use, the appliance must be completely dry to prevent the growth of 
mold. If possible, leave the lid open.
