4. Your video camera

4.1. Introduction

The MAGINON® AC 5 Action Video Camera is ideal for outdoor and 

underwater pursuits. Apart from a dynamic look and elegant design the 

camera is also waterproof up to a depth of 30 m.  The HD lens is equipped 

with a 120 degree wide angle lens and also operates effectively in low light 

conditions. You will never again miss an opportunity of taking beautiful 

underwater shots.

With its motion detection facility, the video camera can also be used as 

a professional surveillance system, either producing video recordings or 

transmission to a connectable monitor. The motion detection can be set to 

video recording periods of 10 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes or 10 minutes. 

The user can choose whether the recordings should be looped. The integral 

high performance battery provides up to 3 hours of video recording.

The MAGINON® AC 5 Action Video Camera has a video resolution of 

1280 x 720 pixels at 30 frames per second. Available video qualities are Fine, 

Standard and Economy. The camera can also be used to take photos at a 

resolution of 2560 x 1920 pixels. microSD and microSDHC cards up to 32 

GBytes can be used as storage medium. Videos and photos can be quickly 

transferred to the computer via the USB-2.0 connection. The USB connection 

also offers the option of using the video camera as a Web cam. The camera 

can also be connected to a TV using the enclosed AV cable.
