7.2. Controlling the camera
The security camera is controlled by a variety of buttons and options. Below the camera
image you will fi nd buttons for exercising direct control over the direction of the camera
head as well as some fundamental camera settings.
Which buttons are available and which settings may be changed depend on the permissions
granted to the user account.
As
Administrator
you have access to all buttons and settings.
As
Operator
you can control the direction of the camera head and set the camera image, but
not make any settings.
As
User
you can only access the camera image, but not use any of the controls or undertake
any settings.
7.2.1. Moving the camera head
The direction buttons may be used to move the camera head in the various directions. If you
hold the mouse over one of the direction buttons and keep the mouse button depressed,
the camera will keep moving in the chosen direction until either you release the mouse
button or the camera reaches its limit of travel in that direction.
