7. Photo settings
The control buttons to the right of the colour display allow a quick control and setting of the
individual functions. The function is described in section 4, page 9. Extended settings for the
camera are available from the menu. This is divided into two areas, the function menu and the
basic settings.
7.1. Function menu
Press the
SET
button in the Photo mode to start the Function menu, allowing you to change,
for instance, resolution or quality settings. To change a setting, proceed as follows:
1. In the Recording mode press the
SET
button to select the function menu and use
the
/
buttons to select the desired option.
2. Use the
/
buttons to select the desired mode of the option.
3. Press the
SET
to select the mode.
Setting the image size
Image size refers to the resolution of a photo. This function allows you to set the resolution
of photos to be taken. This affects the number of remaining photos. The higher the resolu-
tion, the more memory is required. As the resolution decreases so does, however, also the
quality of a photo.
The following resolutions are available:
16M
: 4.608 x 3.456
3:2
: 4.608 x 3.072
16:9
: 4.608 x 2.592
10M
: 3.648 x 2.736
5M
: 2.560 x 1.920
3M
: 2.048 x 1.536
VGA
: 640 x 480
