Focus settings
In many situations the camera can automatically select the required focus setting. For close-
ups or remote scenes and photos of persons, the focussing (focus) can also be adapted to
the special subject matter. Apart from Auto focus, the respective setting is shown in the
display.
The camera features the following focus settings:

Auto focus:
The camera focuses automatically.

Macro:
Use this mode for close-ups within a range of 10 - 50 cm.

Super Macro:
Use this mode for close-ups within a range of 2 - 50 cm. The zoom
setting is fixed in this case.

Manual focus:
When in Manual focus, the focal distance can be adjusted
between 10cm and infinity by pressing the
/
buttons.
Focus frame
This option allows you to change the form of the focus framer. The below options are availa-
ble. In each case the symbol for the successful and unsuccessful focussing is shown:

Note:
• When switched on, the camera is always set to Auto focus
• Not all focus settings are available in each capture mode.
