1. Fill with water to the mark “MAX”.
2. Set the temperature control to “MAX”.
3. Plug in the appliance, the red indicator will light up.
4. Wait when the iron heating indicator lights up green.
5. Unplug the iron.
6. While holding the iron horizontally above the sink, move the steam level control to the Self-
Clean position.
7. To clean the steam holes on the sole, iron a damp cloth.
8. When cleaning is complete, set the temperature control to the minimum temperature mark, and
the steam supply level control to the “no steam” position.
9. Pour the remaining water out of the tank.

Note
To increase the life of the iron, regularly clean it after two to three cycles of use.
