manual which contains important information regarding care and
operation for your safety.
SAFETY INFORMATION
Read this instruction manual carefully before using the unit and
keep it for the whole operation period. Use the unit for its
intended purpose only, as specified in this manual. Mishandling
of the unit may lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user
or damage to his/her property. To avoid the risk of fire, electric
shock and to prevent injury, observe the following safety
measures:
• Do not use this appliance for any use other than its intended
use. This appliance is for household use only.
• Avoid getting water or any liquid on the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance near baths, sinks or other containers
filled with water.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Do not touch the body of the appliance with wet hands.
• Do not use the unit near heat sources or open flame.
• Protect the device from the effects of adverse climatic
conditions, humidity and heat sources.
• The temperature in the rooms where the device is used should
be in the range of +5°C to +40°C.
• Clean the appliance regularly.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used
near children.
• Close supervision is necessary when children or disabled
persons are near the operating unit.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (and also
young children) with reduced physical or mental capacity, or lack
of experience and knowledge, except in the immediate presence
of authorized persons responsible for their safety, providing the
necessary instructions for the use of the appliance.

and under supervision. Keep this appliance and the power cord
out of reach of children younger than 8 years of age.
• For the safety of children, do not leave plastic bags that are
used as packaging without supervision.
Attention!
Do not allow children to play with plastic bags or
packaging film. Danger of suffocation!
• Do not use any accessories other than manufacturer
recommended accessories.
• Protect the appliance from drops and bumps.
• Do not operate appliance after malfunctions, or has been
damaged in any manner. If the appliance is damaged or broken,
do not repair yourself.
• If the appliance damaged please send the appliance to
qualified service center for repair or service.
• Do not attempt to repair the unit. Do not disassemble the unit
by yourself, if any malfunction is detected or after it was
dropped, unplug the unit and apply to any authorized service
center from the contact address list given in the warranty
certificate and on the website www.magio.ua.
• For environment protection do not throw out the unit with usual
household waste after its service life expiration; apply to the
specialized center for further recycling.
• Store the appliance in a dry, cool place out of the reach of
children and people with disabilities.
• The appliance must only be shipped in its original packaging.
• This product should not be disposed of together with
other household waste throughout the EU. To reduce
the possible damage to the environment or human
health, return the product for recycling in order to
reuse the material resources.
To return the appliance, please use a collection system for return
or contact the seller from whom the product was purchased.
• If the error is displayed for a long time, turn off the appliance for
approximately 3 seconds. If this does not help, contact the
service center.
• If you do not use the appliance for a considerable period of
time, you must remove the batteries from the battery
compartment.
• Do not load the scale for a long time.
• While traveling, keep the appliance away from sharp objects.
• Do not use the device near a strong magnetic field.

UNPACKING AND ASSEMBLY
After unit transportation or storage at low temperature keep it for
at least three hours at room temperature before switching on.
– Unpack the unit completely and remove any stickers and
packaging materials that can prevent unit operation.
– Check the unit for damages, do not use it in case of damages.
POWER ELEMENTS INSTALLATION
1. Open battery case cover and remove battery isolation sheet.
2. Install the "3V (CR2032)" battery, following the polarity.
3. Install the battery case cover.
INDICATORS
1. Low battery. Please replace the batterie.
2. Indicates overload. The maximum weight cannot
exceed 50 kg / 110 lb.
TO REPLACE BATTERY
1. Take out the used battery with the aid of an object
with pointed end, as shown in picture.
2. Install new battery by putting one side of the
battery beneath the battery baffle and then pressing
down.
EXPLOITATION
1. Strap the webbing belt through the luggage handle, and
secure the hook of the belt onto the triangle ring.
2. Press to switch on the scale before lifting (ensure no
stress).
3. When LCD shows zero, lift the scale gently. Make sure the
scale is horizontal and balanced. LCD shows the weight of
luggage.
- Press button to tare weight before locking, when LCD
shows zero and "T"

it indicates that Tare function works.
- Weight reading will be locked after flashing three times (LCD
shows "H"). Press button to reset LCD to zero and enter
weighing mode again. Scale will automatically switch off if idle
for 2 minutes.
4. Under weighing mode, press button 3 seconds to
switch off.
TARGET VALUE SETTING
1. When switched on, press for longer time to start target
value setting. Press and shortly to add or reduce
value, then press for longer time to save the setting.
2. When setting finished, LCD will be red backlight if luggage
weight exceeds target value.
TO CONVERT WEIGHT UNIT
When switched on, press button to convert weight unit. If
no operation for 3 seconds, selected unit works and scale will
enter into weight mode.
BATTERY CARE
1. If the device is not being used for a long period of time, the
battery should not remain in the battery compartment.
2. To prevent corrosion of the battery, keep the device in a dry,
clean place.
3. The failed power supply should be rotated through the
collection system to reduce possible damage to the environment.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Do not use abrasives or chemicals to clean the scales.
2. Wipe the weight with a damp cloth.
3. Keep the scales in a dry cool place in a horizontal position.
4. Make sure there are no objects on the scales during storage.
5. For prolonged storage, remove the batteries from the scales.
