Insulation Monitoring
If the inverter is used as a mobile device, e.g. in an emer-
gency vehicle, market car or snack bar, it is often difficult to
establish a suitable earthing.
The standards DIN VDE0100-410 as well as DIN EN 60204-
1, require that this must be installed! If the inverter is instal-
led inside and a device is used outside, an insulation monitor
must be installed. A ground fault circuit interrupter is not
enough! These standards do not apply to privately used ca-
ravans or mobile homes. However, the circumstances are the
same. To protect against injuries it is recommended to install
an insulation monitor here as well.
4�7 Connection to Consumers
All Magira Askis inverters are equipped with a grounded socket,
from 1500 W output with two grounded sockets.
Only connect consumers to these sockets. When connecting
several consumers, pay attention to the total load and the peak
starting currents.
It is important that these are within the power limits of the in-
verter.

If the maximum power is exceeded, irreversible da-
mage to the inverter may occur.
