MAG-200 Dust Collector Set-up

1.  Connect rubber hose to 2.5” outlet on top of MAG-200

2.  Ensure the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position (red switch cover closed)

3.  Plug in to 110v 60hz outlet

4.  Turn on MAG-200 to test

Generation 2 (October 16,2017 to present)

Cleaning of the MAG-200

1.  Remove the yellow bottom cover by unlatching the two catch clamps.

2.  The bottom cover collects the grit and dust. Dispose of the grit and dust, then 

wipe out the bottom cover. Inspect seals in bottom cover, replace if damaged.

3.  Pull the aluminum mesh filter out of the MAG-200. This filter is cleanable, the grit 

and dust can be shaken out of this filter. When it is clean, place it back inside of 

the MAG-200 as shown to the right. The filter sits at an angle inside the MAG-200 

to block all incoming large grit and sparks from the pad filter.

4.  Install the yellow bottom cover back onto the MAG-200.

Pad & Pleated Filter Cleaning

While both of these filters are designed to be discarded and replaced, it is possible to shake them 

out or clean them with compressed air.

WEAR PROPER SAFETY GEAR if you decide to use compressed air to clean the filters. New 

filters will always provide the greatest air filtration and are strongly recommended.

Pleated 3rd Stage Filter Replacement

1.  The 3rd stage filter cover of the MAG-200 must be removed to access filters.

2.  Remove the three screws to remove the cover. (Replace with thumb screws if you desire for easier access.)

3.  Pull the pleated filter out of the cover - discard and replace with part 200-17 filter.

4.  Replace with a new pleated filter ensure air flow direction arrow it is in the correct direction.
5.  Gently push the pleated filter into the 3rd stage filter cover and ensure it is seated.

Pad Filter Replacement

6.  Remove the four screws and pad filter cover. (Replace with thumb screws if you desire for easier access.)

7.  Pull the pad filter out and replace with part 200-15
8.  Ensure the white surface is pointed outward and the green surface inward when installing new pad filter.
