GRINDING WHEEL

REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE

Use the spanner wrench provided with the MAG-8000.

1.  Unplug the grinder.

2.  Remove the motor-side transparent guard plate.

3.  Loosen the arbor nut in a 

CLOCKWISE 

direction 

with the spanner wrench provided.

4.  Replace the worn wheel with a properly balanced & 

speed rated grinding wheel.

5.  Leave the blodders provided with the wheel.

6.  Locate the new wheel on the arbor and firmly 

tighten the wheel nut in a 

COUNTER-CLOCKWISE

direction with the spanner wrench provided.  

Remember to remove the arbor spacer when 

changng from the 1⁄2” wide grinding wheel to the 1” 

wide grinding wheel.

7.  Check to result in a free wheel rotation. (Minimum 

  vibration).

8.  “Plug-in” and switch “ON” assure smooth rotation.  

  (Minimum vibration).
