11.7.1.3
Raw
When using the raw data transmission over TCP the blue PiraT Mini will be a TCP slave device.
Therefore the blue PiraT Mini will initiate a TCP connection to a TCP server by using an open
socket connection (you can configure IP/Port of server via client software).
When using raw data transmission, every data package up to 40 Kbytes is getting a time stamp
and will be written on the logger.
If the connection is getting lost, it will take about 5 seconds to build up a new connection for
logging data again.
11.7.1.4
UDPServer
The blue PiraT Mini can be configured as a UDP server by setting up an IP address and port
number.
There is an adjustable timeout. The connection will be terminated if no data arrives. This ap-
pears as a message in the trace file. There is no configurable debug level. The blue PiraT Mini
as a UDP server accepts UDP data packets, UDP multicast and UDP broadcast packets.
If the connection is getting lost, it will take about 5 seconds to build up a new connection for
logging data again.
