To Stop Recording the One-Touch Timer
Recording within the specified Time:

Select “Yes” to Stop Recording.
Note(s)
• While HDD / External HDD / DVD is in Playback, the
[ REC ]
mode is not available. Stop the Playback before
using Basic Recording or One-Touch Timer Recording.
• When you press
[ REC ]
, Recording Starts immediately
and continues until the HDD or External HDD or DVD is
full, a Program is Recorded up to 8 hours or you Stop the
Recording.
• When the unit’s Clock has not been set yet and the Auto
Clock Setting is set to “Off”, the unit will enter “Clock
Setting” or if the Auto Clock Setting is set to “Old”, the
unit will enter the Clock Data search screen to set the
Date and Time for this unit.
• If Playback and Recording are in progress at the same
Time and you press
[
C
(Stop) ]
, Playback will Stop.
• During the Recording, it is prohibited to change the
Channel
[MDR865H only]
.
• When Recording and Dubbing are in progress at the same
Time and you press

(Stop) ]
, the Dubbing Cancel
Confirmation window will appear.
Note(s) for One-Touch Timer Recording
• Press
[ DISPLAY ]
to see the remaining Recording Time.
• You cannot use the Pause function during One-Touch
Timer Recording.
Scheduled Recording
You can Program the unit to Record up to 100 Programs within
a month in advance. Daily or Weekly Program Recordings are
also available.
■
Before Recording, make sure to...
• Set the Clock before setting a Scheduled Programming.
• Register an External HDD with this unit beforehand if
you are Recording to an External HDD. (Refer to ‘Exter-
nal HDD Connection’ on page 20.)
• If you are Recording to a DVD, insert a Recordable Disc
into this unit.
