z
The UDP900 implements USB Audio Class 2.0 sound card functionality and can act as a standalone digital-to-analog converter
(DAC). The built-in ES9038Pro audio processor is used to process digital audio signals. The processed analog audio can be output
from independent stereo terminals (RCA and XLR) and the front panel headphone output.
z
You can use a USB cable (not provided) to directly connect a digital audio device (such as a PC, MAC computer, or mobile phone)
to the USB input of the UDP900. You may need to make some settings on the audio source device to ensure that the audio signal is
output from the correct terminal. Then use the XMOS key on the remote control to enable this function.
Notes
z
The USB audio input of UDP900 supports up to 2-channel 32-bit 384k Hz PCM and DSD256 signals.
z
To input audio data from a Windows computer to UDP900 via USB, you need to install the sound card driver software on your
computer in advance. This software can be downloaded from the MAGNETAR official website (magnetar-audio.com).
z
No driver installation is required for Mac computers and mobile phones.
