Transport
The pedestrian barriers arrive finally assembled.
The lifting gear must be designed for the weight of the barrier
module.
For transport barrier modules consider the safety notes on
Page 29, Chapter 6.1.
For future transports:
Secure loose cables.
Secure against vibrations.
Securely fasten the barrier module prior to transport (e.g. screw
it onto a pallet).
Transport and put down pedestrian barrier with a forklift and lift
with suitable lifting gear.
6.4
Storage
Sotre pedestrian barriers or packages under the following
conditions:
Do not store outdoors.
Store dry and dust free.
Do not expose to aggressive media.
Protect against solar irradiation.
Avoid mechanical vibrations.
Storage temperature: –10 to +60 °C
Relative humidity: max. 95 %, non-condensing
Regularly check the general condition of all parts and
packaging, if stored for longer than 3 months.
