10.2.4.4 PT Remote Power Statuses
The following “Power” statuses show the status of the controller’s Power Point Tracking.
Note:
The power status codes (example: “P04”) listed below only appear on the PT’s display to
identify the particular PT power status.
Status
Description
MPPT On
(Pon)
Power Maximized (MPPT is On)
– The MPPT circuit is delivering the
maximum power from the array to the battery.
No Power Out
(P00)
No Power Output
– The PT controller is turned off, the controller is
sleeping (during night-time), or a shutdown fault has occurred.
Regulating: VDC
(P01)
Battery Voltage Regulation (Normal Current Regulation)
– The PT
controller is regulating the current to the batteries to keep them at their
target voltage in the Absorb, Float or Equalization stage.
Regulating: Amps
(P02)
Battery Current Regulation (Normal Current Regulation)
– The PT
controller is regulating the current to the battery to ensure the control-
ler’s maximum output current is not exceeded.
Limit: Int Temp
(P03)
Power Limited (Internal High Temperature)
– The temperature in-
side the PT controller is getting high, so the output current is being lim-
ited in an attempt to prevent the controller from shutting down.
Limit: Int Hz
(P04)
Power Limited (Internal Frequency)
– The controller includes a vari-
able frequency converter—this power status displays if the output cur-
rent is being dialed back to prevent the frequency from going either too
high or too low.

(P05)
Power Limited (Above Voltage Regulation)
– The voltage on the
battery bank is above the target voltage set-point. Generally, this is due
to an external charger being set to charge at a higher voltage level. The
PT controller is limiting the output current in an attempt to prevent the
battery voltage from increasing to a voltage level that would trigger a
High Battery In
(F04) fault.
Unknown Power ##
(P##)
This status message (with the hex code number) displays when the ARC
remote cannot determine the power status code that was received.
