Shutdown and Cleaning

Place suction
tube in storage
fluid bottle and
prime tube in
waste pail.
PRIME
Storage fluid: Pump Armor or
mineral spirits/paint thinner
Always pump storage fluid through
system after cleaning. Water left in
sprayer will corrode and ruin pump.
This is the procedure for pumping
storage fluid through system.

Turn Pressure Control
knob all the way left
(counterclockwise) to
minimum pressure.

Spray/Prime
valve to
PRIME.

Transfer prime tube to paint pail.

When paint starts to come
out of prime tube, pull and
hold gun trigger, and turn
Spray/Prime valve to SPRAY.

Submerge suction
tube in paint.
Fluid Splashback Hazard (see WARNINGS sheet): Keep
gun trigger pulled while turning Spray/Prime valve in this step.

Turn power
switch OFF.

Point gun into waste
pail.

Turn power
switch ON.

Turn garden
hose off, and
unscrew
Power Flush

from suction
tube.

Screw inlet

release gun trigger.
Motor stopping indicates pump
and hose are primed with paint.
