DANGER
TO PREVENT INJURIES:
A Crushing Hazard exists when hooking
-
up an
accessory to a tractor. Do not allow anyone to stand
between tractor and the accessory while backing
-
up
to accessory. Do not operate hydraulic 3
-
point lift
controls while someone is directly behind tractor or
near the accessory.
B) With the 3 point quick hitch:
The sleeves (items 3 & 4) must be installed in place
with the pins and hair pins 4mm (item 1).
Place the accessory
on a flat level surface.
Place
driveline properly to avoid conflict in following step.
Slowly back tractor up to
the accessory while using
the tractor’s 3
-
point hydraulic control to align the lower
holes in the arms of the 3 point hitch with the holes A
in the hitch pins.
Slowly raise tractor ‘s 3 point lift arms to attach quick
hitch to the accessory.
CAUTION
The release handles have areas where pinching can
occur. Keep hands, fingers and other body parts
away from the pivoting areas of the release
handles. Always use the hand grips.
WARNING
Always engage parking brake, shut tractor engine off
and remove key before dismounting from tractor.
Note:
Latches on the Quick hitch are spring loaded
and should lock into place over the mounting pins
once the 3
-
point arms are raised.
Make sure quick hitch latches are properly locked.
Remove the parking stand after installing the
accessory on the tractor.
Remove the lock pin (item 1) then raise the parking
stand (item 2) and reinstall the lock pin
Install the PTO drive shaft on the input shaft of
the tractor.
