DIP switch settings
The ventilation unit is fitted with an electronic volumetric flow regulation for a
constant air flow. The unit's electronics adjusts the speeds of both fans to hold
the air quantity constant, irrespective of the system pressure. For this reason,
both fans don't always operate at the same speed.
The pre-selected volumetric flow is maintained in the case of system pressure
changes caused, for example, by dirt in the filter. Using the DIP switches at
the switchable power unit, the air quantity (volumetric flow) can be set easily
for each fan level. Select one of the 4 possible settings.
Procedure:
1. Disconnect the unit completely from the mains power supply. To do this,
switch off the mains fuse at the fuse box and position a visible warning
notice to avoid the unit being accidentally switched back on.
2. Open the 2 quick-release clips and swing the front door downwards.
3. Remove the screw on the side of the electronic slide-in module (E).
4. Carefully pull the electronic slide-in module (E) out until the switchable
power unit is easily accessible in the area of the DIP switches.
5. Now, using a small screwdriver, set the switches as shown in the
following table. It is important that DIP switch 7 is OFF (0) and that DIP
switch 8 is ON (1).
6. After completing the switch settings, push the electronic slide-in module
back into the housing as far as it will go and fix it in place with the screw.
7. Swing the front door upwards and close both quick-release clips.
8. Switch the mains fuse on.
9. Switch the ventilation unit on at the operator unit and check the air power
value settings.
The ventilation unit is now set up and ready for operation.
