7. Installation
7.1 Installing fan
1. Fit FUR type mounting feet appropriate
for the unit to the ERR unit with the
attachment material provided. Perform
installation in accordance with the
installation instructions provided.
Make sure that there is free access
to terminal box [2].
DANGER
Danger from incorrect
installation location or
incorrect attachment.
1. Only fit in places with
sufficient load-bearing
capacity.
2. Sufficiently dimensioned
mounting material is to be
supplied by the customer.
2. Transport unit to installation site and put
down,
chapter 5.1.
3. Mount entire fan unit with FUR mounting
foot to wall, ceiling or bracket.
NOTICE
Risks of leakages if unit not
sealed tightly enough.
Screw unit tightly with all screws.
Fit suitable insulation, sound-
deadening and installation
material.
4. Slide folded spiral-seam ducts suitable
for the diameter of the connection sockets
onto the two sockets on the inlet and outlet
sides. If necessary, first attach ELR
flexible fixing cuffs onto connection socket.
5. On both sides, attach folded spiral-seam
duct to connection socket with flexible
fixing cuff.
6. Fit suitable insulation and sound-
deadening material.
7.2 Electrical connection
DANGER
Danger to life from electric
shock.
Prior to access to the connection
terminals switch off all supply
circuits. Switch off mains fuse,
secure against being accidentally
switched back on and position a
visible warning sign.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to unit in the
event of short-circuits.
Insulate any unnecessary cable
cores.
Notes
These units are not approved for operation

with frequency converters as standard.
Units for frequency converters are only
available as special versions.
For speed control, see accessories in the

1. Switch off mains fuse and prevent from
being started up again. Fit warning sign.
2. Remove terminal box cover [3] and
accessories bag.
NOTICE
Danger of short circuits and
damage to unit.
Water/dampness may
penetrate the terminal box if
the power cable is introduced
incorrectly (leaking) or if the
cable grommet is not fitted
correctly.
Pierce cable grommet such that
it can fully surround the power
cable and makes close contact
in the terminal box.
3. Pierce cable grommet [4] with a nozzle
pin.
4. Insert cable grommet into terminal box [2].
