Attach a suitable hose and feed this to a
suitable container, in order to catch the
brine leaving the system. Take note of the
environmental regulations in Chapter 15.1.
Now close the ball valve.
Remove the screw safety-cap on the
supply pipe (
→
arrow).
Attach a hose to the supply pipe and fill the
ducting system with the 25% Glykosol -
water mixture until the Glykosol runs out of
the run-off and until no more air is
escaping.
Close the supply pipe ball valve.
Bleed the system (bleeding screw/valve at
the highest point of the system).
Top up with brine liquid as required.
Carry out a pressure test on the ducting
system, (
→
Chapter 8.7).
Close the run-off and supply pipe ball
valves and refit the screw safety-caps.
Check the position of the gravity brake in
the forward flow ball valve
(0° setting,
→
Chapter 10.4.4).
10.5 Electrical connection
DANGER
Danger to life from electric
shock.
Switch off the mains fuse at
the fuse box when carrying out
any work on the EW-systems
electrical equipment.
Position a visible warning
notice to avoid the unit being
accidentally switched back on.
NOTICE
Damage to the unit caused by
objects in the ventilation
channels.
Install the brine-register
EW-K 225 first.
Only then connect the EW-S
controller electrically.
●
Only qualified electricians are permitted to
make the electrical connections, in
compliance with the wiring diagrams in the
appendix.
●
Make sure to observe the relevant regula-
tions with electrical installation; in Germany
this is particularly VDE 0100 with the
corresponding parts.
●
Check the mains supply to the building
before commissioning. This must comply
with the required voltage setting at the
EW-S and EW-PG components.
●
Fixed main power connection. Fixed
cabling is prescribed for the mains
connection, in a distribution box, for
example.
●
Lay all cables such that they do not
represent a danger of tripping.
