1 Safety

• Read through 

these instructions

 before install-

ation. Follow the instructions.

• Mounting may only be carried out by specialists

who have the necessary knowledge and experi-
ence in ventilation engineering.

• When working at heights, use suitable ladders/

climbing aids and ensure that they are stable.
Ensure that you are standing securely and can-
not lose your balance and that there is no one
under the unit. The applicable accident preven-
tion regulations must be observed. Assembly
areas must be secured against unauthorised
entry, falling objects and falling.

6 Installation

• When working at heights, use appropriate lad-

ders/climbing aids and have them steadied by a
2nd person. Observe accident prevention re-
quirements.

• Installation is only permitted in walls with suffi-

cient load-bearing capacity (min. 200 kg/m³).

PP 45

 internal and external covers are fixed in

the masonry block (EPS polystyrene), 

PPB 30

 internal and external covers are fixed

outside the masonry block in the wall.
Use suitable mounting material that matches
the respective substrate.
