Lifting, transport and handling
–
Transport can be made with different means of transport according to the desti
-
nation.
–
The lifting means and equipment (with a suitable capacity) indicated on the pack
-
aging and/or on the shipment card on the packs must be made available.
–
Connect the lifting equipment to the lifting points provided on the packaged items
and/or disassembled parts as required.
– Before handling, please read the instructions, in particular those on safety, con-
tained in the installation manual, on the packages and/or on the removed parts.
–
Loading and unloading (machine with pallet) can be performed by using a fork-lift
equipment or, alternatively, a hook-shaped lifting device.
–
Loading and unloading (machine without pallet) must be carried out ONLY by
using a fork-lift equipment.
–
To separate and remove the pallet, slightly lift the machine by inserting a fork-lift
equipment into the designated points.
Important
DO NOT lift the machine (without pallet) by using a hook-shaped lifting device.
–
Move and position the machine to the installation area ONLY by using a fork-lift
equipment.
Transfer shall be carried out ONLY on flat areas without any depression and/or
unevenness.
–
DO NOT attempt to by-pass the instructions concerning the lifting requirements
and special points provided for lifting and handling each item and/or disassem
-
bled part.
–
Slowly lift the pack to the minimum necessary height and move it very carefully in
order to avoid dangerous vibrations.
–
DO NOT handle the equipment if the field of vision is poor and in the presence of
obstacles along the path to the installation area.
–
When the loads are lifted and handled, the radius of action of the lifting means
must be kept free from people.
–
Transport the machine using appropriate means of suitable capacity.
–
Ensure that the machine and components are adequately anchored to the trans
-
portation means.
–
Download packages in the immediate vicinity of the machine setting, which must
be sheltered from bad weather.
–
Do not stack the packs onto each other in order to avoid any damage and to avoid
the risk of sudden and dangerous movements.
–
In case of prolonged storage, regularly check that the component stocking condi
-
tions do not change.
