Double Burst Stimulation (DBS)

The TOF-Watch also includes Double Burst Stimulation as a secondary function.
The set-up menu can be used to select either DBS3.2 or DBS3.3.
With DBS, only tactile evaluation can be used to evaluate the patients’ relaxation
as no registration is performed. The display shows the stimulation strength in mA
or µC, but not the response.
The TOF-Watch automatically prevents the use of DBS and TOF for 20 s after the
last DBS.

0.1 Hz stimulation button

The third secondary function is the 0.1 Hz stimulation. The display shows the
twitch height of the last response. However, this is only valid when the TOF-Watch
