BEFORE USING:

Wash chopping bowl, lid, and blade in the dishwasher or by hand with

warm, soapy water and let them dry completely. Do not immerse base in water or any other
liquid; use a damp sponge or cloth to wipe clean.

TO ASSEMBLE:

Be sure unit is unplugged before assembling.

1.  Place unit on a flat surface. Rubber feet will prevent the unit from slipping during

operation. Place the bowl onto the base, aligning the plastic tabs on the bottom inner
rim of the container with the locking slots on the base. Grasp top of container and
apply slight pressure and turn container until tabs lock into place.

2.  Slide blade hub over the container shaft.

CAUTION:

 Be careful when installing blade

hub, as blade is very sharp.

3.  Place lid on the bowl; press down gently, slide extended tab on lid onto groove in base

slot and turn lid until raised dot marker on lid aligns with dot marker on base. The lid
will snap and lock into place.

NOTE:

For safety, this unit has an interlock system that will prevent unit operation if lid is

removed. This unit will not operate unless the extended tab on the container is correctly
located within the base slot. Do not attempt to start the unit without the lid correctly
positioned and locked.

TO USE:

Remove lid and place up to 1 ½ cups of dry food into container. Depending on

the type of food, amounts may vary. Divide large amounts of food into small portions for
processing. Secure lid, so that it is locked into place. Press and hold the POWER button for
the desired time. When you release the button, the mini-chopper will stop. Watch carefully
to avoid over processing, as most food-chopping takes less than a few seconds. If the mini-
chopper fails to operate, check to ensure that the container and lid are properly locked into
place. Wait for the blade to stop before removing the lid. Unplug the unit and remove the
lid.  Lift the blade out before emptying the contents of the container.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user servicable parts. Do not try to
repair it yourself. Refer it to qualified personnel if servicing is needed.

TO CLEAN:

NEVER IMMERSE BASE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID. Carefully remove blade from
inside the container. Then, separate the container from the motor housing. Blade, Lid and
Bowl may be washed in the dishwasher or with mild soap and water. Wipe base with a
damp cloth or sponge. Be sure blade and bowl are completely dry before placing them back
on the motor base.

TO STORE:

Unplug the unit and store the item in its box or in a clean, dry place. Never store while it is
hot or plugged in. Never wrap cord tightly around the appliance. Do not put stress on the
cord where it enters the unit, as it could cause the cord to fray and break.
