Change Fan Module

Do not touch any exposed wires, terminals and dangerous voltage marks in the
product, so as to avoid injury to human body.
⚫
The fan module supports hot-swap. If the fan module is replaced under the working
state of the router, the replaced fan module shall not be pulled out of the chassis
until the fan stops running. At the same time, considering the possibility that the fan
is still running, it is forbidden to put the hands into the fan module to avoid injury.

Before replacement, please prepare a new fan module in advance, and install a
new fan module immediately after unplugging the fan module in the working state of
the router to ensure the normal use of the router.
The fan module of MP3900X series router only contains one integral fan module. The
replacement steps are as follows:
Step 1: Wear an anti-static wrist, and use a cross screwdriver to loosen the upper and lower
screws of the fan module.
Step 2: Drag the fan with the left hand, hold the handle with the right hand, pull out the fan
module smoothly along the slot guide rail, and put the uninstalled fan module on the
anti-static mat or in the packaging box. The diagram of uninstalling the fan module is as
follows:

Step 3: Insert the fan module to be installed smoothly into the fan module slot along the slot
guide, so that the fan module is in close contact with the chassis backplane.
Step 4: Tighten the upper and lower screws of the fan module panel.
