Avoid the installation direction of the port lightning protector is connected reversely. The
external cable is connected to the IN end and the device network port is connected to the
OUT end.
Avoid the port lightning protector is improperly grounded. When installing the PE of the
surge protector, keep the PE as short as possible to ensure the well contact with the
device ground terminal. After the connection is finished, use a multimeter to check the
connection.
Avoid that the port lightning protector is incompletely installed. When there is more than
one outbound network port of interconnected cable between the device and other device,
install the lightning protector for all cable outbound network ports.
3.4 Check after Installation
Before checking whether the installation is correct, close the power, avoiding the
connection error from damaging the body and device parts.
Confirm that the ground wire connection is correct.
Confirm that the power cable connection is correct.
Confirm that all boards, fan cards and power modules are installed fixedly.
Confirm that the power module configuration meets the power requirement of the whole
device.
