PRODUCT SAFETY
WARNING: Hot toast can burn. Do not place or operate your toaster near or below curtains, or any other combustible material. Do
not leave your toaster unattended when it is being used.
CAUTION— The exposed metal parts of the toaster will get hot in use.

Read this instructions thoroughly before using this appliance or connecting it to the mains supply.
This applicance must be earthed.
There are no user-serviceable parts inside this appliance .Always refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
The mains lead of this product is not replaceable by the user.If the mains lead is damaged,the entire appliance should be returned
to the Customer Service Department.
Do not allow this product to be exposed to rains or moisture during use or storage .
. Your toaster should not be used under a cupboard or close to a wall as this may result in scorching.
. Wait for your toaster to cool before moving it.
. Never lift your toaster by placing your fingers inside or near the bread slots.
. Position your toaster on a flat ,stable surface close to a mains socket supply, away from sources of heat and out of reach of children.
. This appliance can be used by children from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
of lack of experience or knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
. Do not allow the mains lead to touch hot objects.
. Close supervision is necessary when your toaster is used near children.
. Always ensure that your toaster has completely cooled before storing.
. The bread may burn, therefore do not use the toaster near or below combustible material, such as curtains.
. If toast of small bread slices less than 85mm length, you must pay attention to the potential risk of burning when taking out of
the slices.
. Ensure that the bread fits easily into the slots before using your toaster. Torn or thick slices can cause your toaster to jam.
. Never attempt to remove bread that has jammed in the slots without first
unplugging your toaster from the mains supply. Allow your toaster to cool completely before attempting to remove toast that has
jammed. Never use a metal object e.g. knife to remove/ release jammed bread from the toaster.
. Be careful not to damage the internal mechanism or heating elements when removing the bread. Do not touch the internal parts
of your toaster with any implement.
. The toaster is intended for normal household use only.
3. When you first use your toaster, there may be a slight odour as the heating elements warm up for the first time. This is quite
normal and not a cause for concern. To remove the odour , simply operate your toaster for the first time without any bread in it.
4.Let the toaster cool down before toasting.
WARNING: Never force bread into the toasting slots. Bread should fit easily into the slots.
Never toast slices of bread that have been buttered.
TOASTER OPERATION
1. Set the required level of toasting by turning the browning control from left to right. The higher the setting ,the darker the toast
will be .
2. Place the bread into the toasting slots. You can toast one or two slices of bread but only place a single slice in each slot. Press the
loading handle until it locks in place.
Note: The loading handle will not lock in place if your toaster is not connected to the mains supply.
3. When toasting has finished, the loading handle will rise and the toasted bread can be removed. You can lift the loading handle
upwards beyond its rest position to help you remove the toast.
4. If the toast is not done enough it can be toasted again. Turn the browning control to a lower setting and keep a careful eye on the
toast to ensure that it doesn’t burn.
5. Toasting can be stopped at any time by pressing the cancel button.
Note: In the unlikely event that the bread becomes jammed switch off the toaster at the power outlet before carefully easing out the
bread taking care not to damage the heating element.
WARNING: Do not use a knife or other utensil to remove bread from the toasting slot.
