If installing escutcheon trim, the holes can be 
drilled with a twist drill or hole saw. The factory 
template calls for a 19/32” hole. Our drill guide 
uses  a template hole size of 5/8”. 

Drill the escutcheon 
holes half way from 
both sides of the 
door. When all holes 
have been com-
pleted, remove the 
HIT-66 drill guide 
from the door.
