BATTERUES
◆
Your power chair use 12 volt, deep-cycle batteries. These batteries are sealed and maintenance free.
Since they are sealed, there is no need to check the electrolyte(fluid)level. Deep-cycle batteries are
designed to handle a longer and deeper discharge. Though they are similar in appearance to
automotives batteries, they are not interchangeable. Automotives batteries are not designed to handle a
long, deep discharge, and also are unsafe for use in powered power hairs.
◆
These batteries are maintenance free and there is no need to refill with water.
◆
Do not expose the battery to temperatures below 10
°
C or above 50
°
C when charging or storing the
power hair. Under the above temperature range can cause the battery either to freeze or over heat. This
will damage the batteries and shorten their life.
Warning
Battery posts, terminals, and related accessories contain lead and lead compounds. Wash hands after
handling!
▇
