Autonomous Tablet Software

Although Mission Planner is a robust application that is more

than capable of planning and executing autonomous flight
plans, it’s not always the easiest thing to use out in the field due
to the fact that you need to run it on a laptop. Many people like
to use smaller Android tablets to cut down on the amount of
gear they need to pack for their flights. Tablets can even be
mounted directly to the 2.4 GHz radio transmitter in an effort to
keep all control systems in one neat location. If you are interes-
ted in exploring tablets for field work, download the
3DR Android application called Tower. This is the newest
version of the long-used Droid Planner application. If you
want to learn more about
