9.3 Tests and approvals
The vacuum cleaners have
been tested as specified in IEC/
EN 60335269 (2004) including
appendix AA. All the require
ments were fulfilled for equip
ment in dust class L.
The vacuum cleaners must be
inspected regularly in accord
ance with national accident pre
vention regulations (in Germany
as specified in BGV A3 and
DIN VDE 0701 Part 1 and Part
3, at regular intervals and after
repairs or modifications).
A dust test must be performed
at least once every year by the
manufacturer or a trained per
son. This test covers, for exam
ple, whether there is damage to
the filter, the vacuum cleaner is
sealed to the air and the control
equipment works properly.
