damaged. If it is damaged, ask your local service center

Auxiliary handle screw
Every time before using
Check whether screw is not loose. Tighten the screw if
it is loose. Replace the screw if it is damaged.
Cutting tool guard
(protector)
Every time before using
Check whether screw is not loose, whether protector is
not damaged. Tighten the screw if it is loose. Replace
the protector if it is damaged.
Cutter blade
Every 10 h
Lubricate with anticorrosive oil after each use. Check
whether it is not damaged. Replace it if it is damaged.
Nylon cutting head
Every 10 h
Visually inspect whether it is not badly worn or
damaged. Replace it if it is damaged.
Gear shaft
Every 10 h
Lubricate with anticorrosive oil.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Before asking for repairs, conduct your own inspection first. If you find a problem that is not explained in the manual,
do not attempt to dismantle the tool. Instead, ask Makita Authorized Service Centers, always using Makita replacement
parts for repairs.

stop the machine immediately!

Tighten the nut properly as described
