The WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) sign
means that every electrical, and electronic wastes must be
collected, and treated separately. According to The Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE
Directive), the European Community Directive 2012/19/
EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)
which, together with the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU lights,
and light bodies are electrical, and electronical wastes, and cannot be
disposed, and treated together with municipal waste. Since they require
special treatment, these wastes can only be handled to organizations, and
companies authorized to treat these kinds of wastes. Whenever your light
comes to the end of its life cycle, please cooperate with treating your waste
as written above, we can help you in that:
According to the local government act 197/2014 (VII.1) we pay waste
disposal and handling cost in case of each sold units, large light bodies
(any dimensions of the light exceeding 50 cm), and small light bodies (no
dimensions of the light exceeding 50 cm) included. We teamed up with an
intermediary organization ELECTRO-COORD Non-profit, Ltd. for fulfilling
our obligatory duties, and we also operate a collection point at our facility
where we can take over your wasted lights either those you purchased
from us, or functionally similar light waste that you originally purchased
from elsewhere.
Important information regarding the lights distributed by Malatech
Water, Ltd:

The Aluminium, steel, plastic (Acrylic, Polycarbonate) parts of the lights
do not cause environmental or health risk either in perfect or damaged
condition of the light.

The LEDs do not cause environmental or health risk either in perfect
or damaged condition, but according to the laws they are meant to be
electrical, and electronical wastes, which require special disposal, and
treatment.
•
The built-in Li-ion batteries, and the photovoltaic panels are dangerous
wastes, which means that you must not dispose the wasted light into the
municipal waste container but you need to keep them separated from
municipal waste, and dispose it at an authorized location only.
•
Since our lights are IP65 rated lights, the parts in many places are
waterproof adhesive-bonded, glued. Disassembling the light is
