CHECKING THE OIL LEVEL IN THE DAMPER
If the front suspension bottoms out or makes anomalous
noises, check the oil level in the dampers as follows:
•
Remove upper cover (A);
•
Remove circlip (B), using a screwdriver to press
downwards on cap (C) complete with O-ring (D);
•
Carefully remove spring (E) and allow the oil in which
it was immersed to drip off;
•
Bring the damper (F) to its bottom travel limit while
keeping it in a perfectly vertical position.
•
With the aid of a rule or a gauge rod, check the oil
level. The correct level is 80 mm from the upper edge
of the damper.
•
Top up with Q8 FORK OIL if necessary
