As a manufacturer and distributor of the product, we have no direct influence on the proper handling and correct
use of the product.
The following safety instructions are to keep you and your environment from damage that can result from impro-
per use. But the product itself and your model are be protected from damage by the corresponding guidelines.
So please read this chapter carefully before using the product!
We assume no liability for material or personal damage caused by failure to observe the operating instruc-
tionsor failure to observe the safety instructions.
In such cases, the warranty / guarantee is also void.
We assume no liability for consequential damages!
The model is not suitable for children under 14 years of age, unless under the supervision of adults.
Dispose of the packaging, as this could pose a danger to children.
Preparation
Check with your insurance provider, whether the use of a radio-controlled model is covered by the insurance.
If you do not have any experience in controlling RC models, first familiarise yourself with the responses to the
control commands on the stationary model. You can contact an experienced model-sports enthusiast or a mo-
delling club. Seek the support of an experienced pilot.
Before commissioning the remote control and the model, check for functional safety and visible damage such
as faulty connections or damaged cables. All the moving parts have to operate smoothly, but without bearing
play.
Check all the screw connections and plug connections, wheel lugs and electrical contacts to be sure they are
tight, because they can become loose or undone during transport, when running and when minor accidents
occur.
Fasten excess lengths of cable such that they cannot get into any moving/turning parts. No lines must get bent
either.
Make sure that all the rechargeable batteries are fully charged.
Follow the separate operating instructions of accessories.
Radio remote control unit
Stick to the switch-on sequence:
- Accelerator/brake lever in idle position,
- Control lever in neutral position
- First switch on the transmitter and then switch on the model
Otherwise, the model may show unpredictable reactions!
Place the model for starting in such a way that the wheels and the drive motor can rotate freely.
Check the range of your remote control before starting the model.
Check the response of the servos to the remote control signals on the stationary model.
Make sure that the batteries/rechargeable batteries of the transmitter and receiver are fully charged!
Weak rechargeable batteries (or batteries) reduce the range of the transmitter and lead to errors in the signal
transmission to the receiver. Therefore, the model may no longer respond properly to the remote control. Stop
operating immediately and replace the batteries with new ones or charge the rechargeable batteries again.
Do not drive near high-voltage power lines or radio towers or during a thunderstorm. Electric fields and statics
can affect the signals from your remote control transmitter.
After operation, turn off the model first and then the transmitter.
For safety and licensing reasons (CE), unauthorised attempts to repair and rebuild and/or modify the system
are inadmissible.Otherwise, the CE approval will no longer apply.
