3. Purpose
3.1 Indication
For an efficient and comfortable expressing, it is indispensable to use a breast shield
in the correct size.
For this reason,

The patented protective diaphragm in the breast shield offers the best possible
protection and safety for mother and baby. This diaphragm hermetically shuts off
the breast pump. Breast milk, bacteria or germs cannot contaminate neither the
tubes nor the pump.
Also observe the operating instructions of the breast pump.
3.2 Contraindications
A possible contraindication is being allergic to the silicone of the optional soft
insert which is in direct contact with the skin. In case of a known silicone allergy,
do not use the silicone insert.
In individual cases, the skin may be irritated resulting
in redness or red spots.
