The impact of noise can cause damage to hearing. Total vibration values determined
in accordance with EN 62841.
“drilling into metal":
Vibration emission value a
h,HD
= 3.6m/s2(main handle)
Uncertainty K =1.5m/s2
Vibration emission value a
h,HD
=2.3 m/s2(auxiliary handle)
Uncertainty K =1.5m/s2
"Impact drilling into concrete:
Vibration emission value a
h,HD
=12.9m/s2 (main handle)
Uncertainty K =1.5m/s2
Vibration emission value a
h,HD
=12.1m/s2 (auxiliary handle)
Uncertainty K =1.5m/s2
Protect yourself against the effects of vibration by maintaining the tool and its
accessories, keeping your hands warm, and organizing your work patterns.
PREPARATION
Auxiliary Handle
Never use the impact drill without the auxiliary handle (F). The auxiliary handle
provides additional support and allows you to work exhaustion-free. The auxiliary
handle is intended for both right-and left-handed persons.
• Loosen the clamp holder (F2) of the auxiliary handle (F) by turning the handle (F3)
counter-clockwise.
• Guide the drill chuck (H) of the impact drill through the auxiliary handle.
• Then tur the auxiliary handle to the position which is best for you.
• Turn the handle (F3) clockwise until the auxiliary handle sits tightly and can no
longer be moved.
Depth Gauge
With the depth gauge (G), you can drill several holes with the same drilling depth.
• Loosen the depth gauge adjuster (F1) of the auxiliary handle (F) by turning the
handle (F3) counter-clock- wise.
• Guide the depth gauge (G) through the opening on the auxiliary handle.
• To set the desired drilling depth.
• Pull the depth gauge out far enough so that the distance between the point of the
drill and the point of the depth stopper is the desired drilling depth.
• Turn the handle (F3) clockwise until the auxiliary handle sits tightly and can no
longer be moved.
Using Screw Tools
• When using screw bits, you should always use a universal bit-holder.
• Only use screw bits which fit the screw head. For screws, always set the drilling
function switch to the drilling side not impact drilling side.
OPERATION
• ON/ OFF (Fig.4).
• Switch locking for continuous use (Fig.5).
• Speed control for smooth starting (Fig.6).
• Maximum speed control (Fig.7).
With wheel C the maximum speed can be adjusted from low to high.
- switch on the tool.
-lock the switch.
-turn wheel C to select maximum speed.
• Changing direction of rotation (Fig.8).
- when not properly set in left/right position, switch A cannot be activated.
Change direction of rotation only when tool is at a complete standstill.
