Assembly
Mounting the Handle
Required equipment:
180gr Hammer, 3mm driver, Medium sized screwdriver.
Parts required to mount the handle:
Following parts are supplied as standard in a bag on the grip (45): 1x Handle Axis (46), 2x Spring Pin
(23) and 1x 3mm driver. Should anything be missing, please contact your Mammuth supplier.
NOTICE! The Part Numbers, which are placed in the text throughout this manual, refer to the Part
List and –drawing in chapter 7.
Step 1:
Check if the numbers on the packing of the lever and the packing of the pallet truck
correspond, if this is not the case, please contact your Mammuth supplier.
Step 2:
Pull the lever (51) to the lifting position (lowest position).
Step 3:
Use the hammer tap the spring pin (23) in on one side of the Handle Axis, put some grease on
one side of the spring pin. Now drive the Handle Axis through the hole in the Handle.
Step 4:
Make sure the chain (1, fig.1) runs through the hole in the Handle Axis, as shown in figure 2.
In order to make this work, first drive the Handle Axis through the Handle!
Step 5:
Use the hammer to tap another spring pin (23) into the axle with the hole (46). Using a 3mm
Punch to finish.
Step 6:
Use a screwdriver to lift up the Cam (17)(1, fig.3) and put the adjusting nut into the Cam slot,
check the correct position of the chain.
Step 7:
Remove the Pump locker (3, fig.1)
