Maintenance
Oil
Only use Mammuth Jack oil 68 to fill up the oil in the pallet truck. Make sure no dirt enters the
hydraulic system and don’t use brake fluid.
Removing air out of the hydraulic system
The air may come into the hydraulic oil because of transportation or pump in upset position. It can
cause that the forks do not elevate while pumping the RAISE position. The air can be removed in the
following way: Let the Lever (51) on the LOWER position, then move the Handle up and down several
times.
Daily check
Daily check of the pallet truck can limit wear and tear as much as possible. Special attention should
be paid to the wheels, the axles, as threads, rags etc. may cause to block the wheels. If there is
anything between, it has to be removed. Fixes and maintenance should be carried out only by
specialized technicians with knowledge of mechanics.
Standard maintenance
1.
Don’t leave the truck outdoors when not used and prevent corrosion by exposal to rain and
snow.
2.
Lubricate the main- and cylinderpump with grease to prevent corrosion.
3.
Check the hydraulic oil level regularly, at least once a year, and replenish if necessary. When
the forks are lowered entirely, the oil level should be 1cm below the top of the oil tank.
