Batteries
On the underside of the mouse, lift the battery compartment cover up and insert the 2 AAA batteries
(included), matching the polarity indicators on the inside of the compartment. Replace the cover,
pressing gently till it clicks in place.
USB Micro Receiver
Press the release button (on the underside of the mouse, as shown above) and the USB micro
receiver will pop out of its onboard storage compartment (also shown above). Plug the receiver into
a USB port on your computer. Press and hold in both the scroll wheel and the Reset button (both
shown above) for approximately 15 seconds to connect the receiver.
NOTE:
If the presence of a strong
magnetic field or vibration causes the link to be lost, simply repeat this connection step.
Operating Tips
• Operate the mouse within 7 m (30 ft.) of the receiver, and avoid placing obstacles between the mouse
and the receiver (when it’s plugged into a USB port) that can interfere with the transmission signal.
• To increase or decrease the resolution of the mouse to suit a particular application or task, press the
DPI button to cycle through the 3 settings: 800, 1200 and 1600 dpi.
• Place the mouse on a white or light-colored surface — such as a MANHATTAN laser mousepad —
for optimal performance.
• If the mouse will not be used for an extended period of time or if you transport it outdoors, it’s best to
remove the batteries.
• During transport, store the USB micro receiver in i
ts onboard storage compartment.
• The mouse automatically enters a sleep mode after approximately 8 minutes of inactivity to save
power. Press any key or scroll to wake it.
• Laser synchronization is automatic: No settings are necessary.
