3. Connect the router’s management interface via a Web browser.
After your computer obtained an IP address from the router, open
your Web browser and input the IP address of the router in the
address bar. The following message should be shown:
Input a user name and password as shown. The default user name
is
“admin”
; the default password is
“1234.”
Click OK, and you
should see the Web management interface of this router:
NOTE: If the IP address of the gateway is not displayed, or the address
following IP Address begins with “169,” recheck the network connection
between your computer and router, and/or go to the beginning of this
chapter to recheck every step of the network setup procedure.
