After you finish with all settings, click Apply (3) and the following
message will be displayed on your Web browser:
Click Continue to go back to the setup menu or to continue to other
setup procedures, or click Apply to reboot the router so the settings
will take effect (wait about 40 seconds while router is rebooting).
If you decide to reset all settings on this screen back to previously
saved values, click Cancel.
2-5-8 Setup procedure for DDNS:
DDNS (Dynamic DNS) is an IP-to-Hostname mapping service for
those Internet users who don’t have a static (fixed) IP address. It
will be a problem if want to provide services to other users on
Internet, because your IP address will vary every time you connect
to the Internet, and other users won’t know the IP address you’re
using at any given time.
NOTE: Only an IP address can be entered here;
DO NOT
use the
hostname of a DNS server! (i.e., only numeric characters and dots are
accepted)
