IMPORTANT
t
Do not tow a trailer or attachment that is not working perfectly.
Using a trailer that is not in good condition may affect the steering and braking of the telehandler and therefore the safety of the whole unit.
If a third party helps in coupling or uncoupling the trailer, this person must remain permanently visible to the driver and wait until the telehandler has stopped, the
handbrake is on and the I.C engine is switched off before performing the operation.
Located at the rear of the telehandler, this device is used to attach a trailer. Its capacity is limited for each telehandler by the
authorized gross vehicle weight, tractive effort and maximum vertical force on the coupling point. This information is given
on the manufacturer's plate fixed to each telehandler (
e
: 2 – DESCRIPTION: IDENTIFICATION OF THE TELEHANDLER).
-To use a trailer, see the current regulations in your country (maximum travelling speed, braking, maximum weight of
the trailer, etc.).
-Verify the trailer's condition before using it (tire condition and pressures, electrical connection, hydraulic hose, brake
system…).
NOTE: Our tractors approved for lift trucks are not compatible for use with trailers fitted with ISO7638.
