ICE CLARITY
In areas with poor potable water quality, the ice
machine makes cloudy ice. Setting Ice Clarity to ON
will add additional water during the freeze cycle to
dilute the water that contains a high content of
dissolved solids in the water trough. This feature
decreases production and increases water usage. A
water filter is recommended to produce the highest
quality ice while maintaining the least expensive mode
of operation.
1. From the Set-Up menu, use the Down arrow to
highlight Ice Clarity.
2. Press the Checkmark. On this screen, you can
choose to turn the ice clarity feature ON or OFF
by highlighting your choice and pressing the
Checkmark. Selecting one will deselect the other.
3. When the check reflects your preference, use the
Down arrow to navigate to Exit and press the
Checkmark. The display will return to the Set-Up
menu.
LCD BRIGHTNESS
Here, the brightness of the LCD display can be
adjusted.
1. From the Set-Up menu, use the Down arrow to
highlight LCD Bright.
2. Press the Checkmark. You will see one of four
checkmarks indicating the brightness levels of the
display. Level 1 is one checkmark, level 2 is two
checkmarks, Level 3 is three checkmarks, etc.
3. Use the Up and Down arrows to select your
preference.
4. When the checkmarks reflect your preference,
press the Checkmark. The display will return to
the Set-Up menu.
